Certificate in Quantity Surveying Programme
In 2025, CQS introduced a Certificate in Quantity Surveying programme for individuals who have completed their GCE O/L exam and want to pursue a career in Quantity Surveying. This certificate also acts as a pathway for those who do not meet the qualifications for direct entry into the CQS HND programme. Graduates of this program can work as Quantity Surveying Assistants. The course is full-time over seven months, is conducted in English, and is designed for beginners, following the National Quantity Surveying Curriculum of TVEC.
The programme was updated following the new Quantity Surveying Curriculum of TVEC in 2025. Total course duration of HND is two and half years which consists of four academic semesters and 06 months of industrial training.

Note
A notional hour includes classroom teaching, tutorials, assignment, projects, on the job training and self-study.
One credit (1) is equivalent to 25 notional hours.
> NVQ 05 - 60 credits (1500 hours)
> NVQ 06 - 120 credits (3000 hours)
Six months of industrial training including diary records and evaluation is required to complete the HND qualification.
